In this thread, I intend to show what is possible when Black people pool their resources in recognition of a national need.
What can be achieved? What can be accomplished? Was there ever a time when the basic necessities of life were met for Black people by way of economic enterprise which was independent of caucasian control?
I answer in the affirmative.
It has been seen in the past, but the example of which I speak is more widespread than the up from slavery community of Rosewood, Florida. It is more recent than the activities on Oaklahoma's Black Wallstreet. It is more recent than the admirable activities of the Universal Negro Improvement Association. It is an example which can be but has yet to be matched by any group of Black people to this day.
All some need is an example to serve as inspiration that motion might be made towards movement, movement that will make real progress for our people, so this thread will hopefully serve as that example as you will see the RESULTS of the implementation of an accessible plan which should eliminate THEORIZING our way around in the darkness of our economic woes.
